On behalf of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Indonesia to the United Nations, World Trade Organization and other International Organizations in Geneva, allow me to welcome you to the new and redesigned version of the Mission’s official website. 

Indeed, it is timely for us to improve and modernize our website in face of the demands and challenges to provide you with a wide range of information about the work of Indonesia within the United Nations, World Trade Organizations and other International Organizations in Geneva as well as its policy stands on various issues of global concern. 

It is our sincere expectations that the website would be useful not only to the academia and government officials, but also to the general publics, thus we have updated the website with the latest public information at our disposals and to provide you with a “user-friendly” navigation system. 

Our objective is to ensure greater transparency, enhanced understanding and awareness of Indonesia in line with an old proverb that has been embedded in our old culture, namely, "tak kenal maka tak sayang" or loosely translated means the more one know about a person/s, the more that one will understand and love that person/s. It is our hope that you will understand Indonesia better through this website, its culture, its values, its peoples and its policies.
